Moving is stressful! I am here to calm your moving nerves by helping with the logistics involved in downsizing a loved one's house, packing/unpacking or organizing before and after a move, or helping sort through belongings following a loved one's passing.

How I can help
Pre-move organization and/or packing
My trusted process helps go through the "old" house to get your belongings ready for the new house. This includes making sure you don't take anything with you to the "new" house that you don't want or need.

Home staging
Ask a real estate agent and they will tell you a clutter-free home sells faster. I will help you simplify and stage your home prior to putting it on the market.

Unpacking/whole home organization
I can be an extra hand to help you pack or I can do it all for you, including recommending and procuring the right packing supplies for a stress-free transition.

Home downsizing
Moving from a whole 3-bedroom home to an apartment or nursing home is hard enough without worrying about what to do with your or your loved one's belongings. I'm here to help categorize, tag for a yard sale, donate and pack up before this life transition.

Estate liquidation
After a loved one passes away, I can help you organize their house and belongings to keep, donate, and sell (I will even help tag all the items for an estate sale).
Process
01.
Free consultation. We will meet in your current home or office to evaluate your space and the state of it. I will share some initial ideas on paper.
02.
Proposal and price quote. Based on our discussion, I will send you a proposal detailing the project description, objectives, timeline and recommended materials as well as the corresponding price quote
03.
Shop for materials. Whether I do the shopping or you do, we will purchase the materials ahead of your session.
04.
Complete session. I will complete your project in the estimated time or less.
05.
Have a [hopefully] stress-free move.
Pricing
Pricing varies depending on the size and state of your space. After your free consultation I will provide a detailed proposal including project description, objectives, timeline and recommended materials, along with a price quote.

In your quote you will see each space/part of your project listed separately with the number of hours I estimate that space will take to complete. I will also provide a list of materials (like storage solutions) that I recommend to get to your desired finished product. I list the materials cost separately so you can see that I don't mark up materials. I also list links for each item in case you would rather do the shopping yourself. If my actual time exceeds my estimate, you will not be charged more than I list in your quote as long as the scope of the project doesn't change.

For most projects, I request either the materials cost, if I'm doing your shopping, or 15% of the project cost in advance.
